Hope Thompson

Hope writes for stage, film and television and her work explores the queer experience through history and genre. She has had plays produced in Toronto, Vancouver and Los Angeles. Her award-winning short films have screened internationally. Television credits include the CBC animation, What It's Like being Alone, and most recently, the award-winning sketch comedy show, Baroness Von Sketch Show. When she isn't writing, Hope teaches screenwriting, works in film and documentary research and co-hosts Toronto's longest-running crime fiction reading series Noir @ The Bar - Toronto. She has several new
projects in development.
